dÄHLer Tuning's Exhaust Flap Control Module was developed and manufactured in Germany and is a must have if you like to control the sound of your car.
With the device installed you can manually open and close the standard built-in exhaust flap of your BMW at any time. It operates at the push of a button on the included remote control or can also be programmed to your mirror buttons, so the system will be very well integrated.
Installation of the Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module in your BMW is easy and can be performed with little manual skill required. The device is a direct plug'n play to the existing (OEM) harness. The complete installation takes place in the trunk and under-body through existing cable duct plugs and power is supplied directly from the original harness; no need to run additional wiring through the interior of the vehicle.
As our Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module operates as minimally in the vehicle as necessary, it does not does not leave any error messages and is undetectable to diagnostic readers, while having no effect on BMW software updates.
Our smart Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module improves the driving experience with an individual sound control, but also incorporates safety features such as making sure the valve is not permanently fully closed under certain full throttle conditions to avoid any possible damage to the engine in a long term.
Each of our systems is individually checked for function after assembly and subjected to quality assurance. All Modules are made in Germany by a team of specialists at an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. The Exhaust Flap / Valve Control Module for BMW is built to be safe from the ground up, so that it cannot interfere with the data bus.
The Module is permanently resistant from up -30° to +80° C (-22° to 176° F). As a rule, you don’t need any additional heat protection
