My vehicle radio is off. I send a text message via Apple Carplay. After the message is sent the vehicle radio comes on. This always happens. Is there some setting I am missing? Thanks.

I had been having where when I sent a message via ACP the music would NOT come back on (streaming). That seems to have cleared up as I haven't seen it in a while.

I have not seen a setting about this.

More details? What versions (iDrive and iPhone) and have you tried to delete the phone and reconnect it from scratch, and did you try resetting the iDrive by holding the volume/mute button for 90 seconds?

I have idrive 8 and iPhone 13. Have not tried what you have suggested yet.

Now the turned off radio comes on by itself after I finish a phone call via Apple Carplay!!!!!!!

I have this issue and also have one where whenever I go to use the voice commands with Siri, Apple Car Play disconnects. I’ve tried the reset and reconnecting the phone, but no luck.
