Obligatory parking garage pic, because nobody came to work today, apparently.

Been a long time.

Between a bit of life happenings and a few weeks of back/nerve issues, checking the forum took a bit of a back seat. I'll spare you all the details.

Once I could move around a bit more freely and was able to find a day to install some items without rain imminent, I got everything I had purchased actually installed on my car.

So here is a list of items I installed (pics and a few more details to follow once I wash my car):

- Zunsport oil cooler guard
- black M2 badge (front and rear)
- carbon fiber front lip and side skirts (CT Carbon)
- carbon fiber rear spoiler (TRE ID-01)

Besides some wheels (boss has not given green light; still working on it), I think the exterior is in a good spot with mods for me...for now

Im thinking about going with CT Carbon myself. Did they provide any hardware? I believe they said they provide the self tapping screws. Do they also provide a drill bit as well? I believe R44 provide all of that for their MHC pieces.

They provided everything I needed for the install. Some of the front pieces use the 10mm (I believe) bolts that are already on the car, but all of them did come with some small self-tapping screws. Side skirts were ONLY the self-tapping screws.

I think I've read some people used slightly longer screws and washers just for peace of mind. I did that on a couple of spots.

Hope that helps!

Funny, because after pics and people's thoughts, I was down to CT Carbon and MHC as well!

Thanks for the info! I think I am leaning towards CT Carbon. Can you explain how VAT works? How did you know you had to pay that? I believe you saod earlier you were somehow notified?

Not sure if it is the same, but we recently bought something on vacation in Europe and had it shipped. About a week or two after it arrived we received information from FedEx indicating what we owed for VAT.

Long overdue post with pics after some installs.

- CT Carbon front lip and side skirts
- black M2 badges (front & rear)
- carbon fiber trunk spoiler (TRE ID-01)
- Zunsport oil cooler guard (no pic!)

Install for all of this stuff was pretty straightforward. And, as with anything, exponentially easier if you have the correct tools.

I didn't have the "perfect" setup/tools to do this work, but was good enough.

The most annoying parts would be removing the adhesive from the removal of the stock spoiler, and using the self-tapping screws if you don't have room for a drill.

Well done. I ended up getting a right angled drill and a stubby impact driver jist for clearance purposes lol. Did you jack up the car or use any kind of race ramps? I plan on using race ramps and just driving up them for the front splitter.

Yeah, I actually ended up borrowing some race ramps from a neighbor, so that was super helpful.

But yes, if you can overcome the clearance issues one way or another, it's not a big deal to install...this is coming from whose resume for putting things together mostly includes IKEA furniture.

Side note: the new spot for the phone mount seems to be working fine. I really like that I can just attach the phone and take it from the magnet, and that it charges while it's on there. And it's not blocking anything or anyone from anything. So that's nice!

It's the flap opening, I coded out the active sound and it does the same thing, you can even hear the flap click. When the car is just sitting in neutral it's silent like a mouse independent from the driving mode.

Good to know! I wasn't thinking it was an issue, nor was I bothered by it...but was more curious than anything.

Thanks!

Yeah, I received a text and email from DHL with a link to the site to go and pay what I owed.

At first, I was thinking it could be a scam, so I didn't even open the links. I googled it, along with reaching out to DHL directly (not using the link) and they confirmed it's common for deliveries from outside the US.

DHL actually held the item and did not deliver it until I paid. They said if I did not pay within a certain number of business days, they'd just return it to the sender.

I paid $45.

Not sure if it's dependent on how much you order or size or weight or whatever...but I ordered the front lip and side skirts from them.

Hope that's helpful!

On the car? Yeah, I am going to go with Twilight Purple. I am most likely going to go with CT Carbon for their splittef, sideskirts, rear winglets and spoiler. Debating on getting the carbon fiber mirror caps. I can see myself braking the clips so not sure I want to chance it. I have seen countless videos on installing splitters and sideskirts and I really do think I can do it.

Nice!

Yeah, as long as you have some space under the car, the splitters and side skirts are fine.

Update us when you decide/get the car/get the parts installed!
