Downpipes and stock tune (with or without spacers)

I'm planning on getting downpipes for my car for the extra sound but I'm wondering if its fine to do with a stock tune. I've also heard that the secondary o2 sensors on the S58 play a part in calculating fuel trims so its best to run no spacers if going catless. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

When running catless it doesn't seem to be much of an issue using spacers. With catted downpipes and to long of a spacer some do get a code for delayed response code. If you get that code I would attempt another fix or just run with the light.

You can run catless or catted, no harm done to the engine. you just have to live with the check engine light

Why not just do a catback instead? Makes no sense to run downs without a tune just for sound and an annoying CEL…

I have a racechip, will catless downpipes add that much power?
