Anyone try the Dinan intakes?

They're somewhat reasonably priced for carbon incased units. Anyone tried them?

I considered it but after reading all the resource material here decided to go with BMC air filters. Much much cheaper for about the same gain in performance (I’m not tuned) but no carbon fiber eye candy.

im a fan of Dinan intakes, they offer excellent carbon fiber quality and are reasonably priced. if you are looking for a carbon fiber intake and dont want to spend Eventuri or Arma money, Dinan is an excellent option

Same :/

I do wish I could hear more induction noise w/o spending a billion dollars

Check ours out. Our design is very similar with the semi closed airbox design and vented lid.

I pulled the trigger on them. The carbon looks absolutely great and flows really well with the rest of the Dinan pieces under the hood. It definitely pops.
The car does have a louder intake sound (Turbo spool) but it really isn't that loud. To be honest, I would imagine it would have been louder. I think with my J Pipe and Midpipe (ER), it becomes harder to hear the intake side of things. Definitely on the quieter spectrum when it comes to induction noise. I think I'll have to drive the car more.
Power wise, I can't say I feel the difference, issue being that were in the middle of winter and I am on PS4S* and don't want to end up on the news.
So I haven't really pushed the car hard. I did notice that the power is still there and it will cut power when accelerating in a straight line on cold pavement.
I do however think the car is peppier than stock with the modifications I have, the exhaust feels like it keeps the car in the boost threshold longer.
