I'm not sure what week I ended up but I'm also doing pcd with purple according to the chrome extension this is what it says: Production Date: 2024-10-16

BMW Genius just updated me...week 4 January estimated production date.

Ugh...dealer was sure their car was coming by end of year. It's gonna be spring!

Hmm, then you should have a prod number. I placed my order without an allocation, my CA said she would get me one. 4 days later she called and said she got it and gave me my production number right away.

chris25m2 if they can't give you a production number asap it likely means you're in the build bank which isn't all bad. "Customer sold" builds get allocation priority over dealership stock orders.

Has anyone been experiencing a delay or stop sale for their 2025 M2?

I called the BMW Genius line and confirmed my M2 has been at the US port since the first week of September. They have also advised that my car is under a stop sale due to an issue involving a cupholder trim. I have not been able to uncover much else.

I was able to perform a quick Google search and found the attached bulletin. My car falls within those specified production days.

Mine has been at Port (Hueneme) since 10/5, much like yours. I do have some accessories that needs installation at port, but CA didn't mention anything about a Delivery Stop. I have a Production date of 9/15 so Im assuming I'm part of the delivery stop.

A few days at the port, hell even a week is completely ordinary, especially if you have accessories to install.
I would not assume your car is on stop sale based only on 10/5 port arrival.
