It seems like most folks are running 20s all around right? Are 19s all around just too small with two piece style wheels?

I went with 19/20 (and mine are monoblock), though I upsized the width to 10/11, which seems to be very common from my research on other users here. I've seen a few with square 20 setups, but can't say I've seen anyone do square 19.

How much do they weigh?

Really nice wheels. On these pictures, do you have OEM size tires (275/35 front and 285/30 rear)?

Are those wheels hubcentric with a 66.6 center bore are do you use centering rings?

Thanks, was going for something a bit different. The car really reminds me of 90's JDM, and I always wanted some Meisters or similar on my (dearly departed) S13 coupe.

I had planned on weighing them when they arrived.. totally forgot in all the excitement. Andy from VT Forged figures they are a couple / few pounds heavier than the SLA.

If you're referring to me, yup I'm using the stock tires. No centering rings, these were custom made by VT Forged, 66.6 center bore.

For those wondering, all of our wheels are tailor made to your specific vehicle, meaning OEM hub bore, lug pattern, even lug seat (ball seat when necessary, etc). Customization options are endless, we can literally engrave your name into the wheels if you so choose!

For my info (I can't find the information on the website). When I look at the wheels GS-5.R, they come from the GS-5 that you already produce but with changes to the 5 spokes (more curvature in the spokes). Same thing with the SL-A that you modified to the SL-A.3.

I was wondering what kind of test you perform to certify the load rating on these designs. Exemple, do you do any 'cornering' or 'Impact' test to conform to the 'JWL' rating or do you just do computer analysis?

Thank you.

Are you guys still averaging about 60 to 70 days from customer payment received, till customer receives wheels?

Monoblock orders delivering to the US are currently about 50-55 days from order to delivery. We finish most monoblock sets in under 5 weeks, some as fast as 3 weeks. Once the wheels are done, for shipping you can choose from free delivery (by ship) which takes 20-25 days roughly, or air freight ($450 extra, takes 10-12 days roughly).

Totally up to the customer which freight they'd like to do, to most $450 isn't worth saving 2 weeks but to some it may be!

You are correct that the GS-5.R basically just adds curvature to the GS-5 Comp. The original SL-A design was retired, we tweaked the design to differentiate it from the original SL-A and it is now called the SL-A.3 SuperLite. We also have another similar design called the SL-A.2 which doesn't have the spoke hollowing through the spokes, instead it has a hollow point in the center of the front before it splits. If you're a fan of the spoke hollowing, check out our new VS-RR monoblock featuring triple spoke hollowing! Can be found on page 2 of our monoblock selections on the site.

We release on average 3-5 new wheel models a month, and it'd cost us much more funds than we generate from sales to individually test each wheel through JWL / VIA / etc. We do not sell that many wheels to justify that.

All of our wheels undergo FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure integrity and strength, with each wheel being load rated for the specific vehicle it's being installed on.

We may be a "newer" company (Opened May of 2022), but the facility that private label manufactures our wheels overseas is not.

If you have specific questions about any of our processes, please email me - vtforged@gmail.com, would love to chat wheels!
