For those picking individual paint

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to get an idea of wait times for when people are taking delivery of their cars.

I do not know what the wait time of for the standard colors but is everyone who is getting the “special” colors seeing a longer wait time? If so, how much longer?

My CA said if I was to get an allocation in January, I can expect to take delivery in May or June which to me doesn’t seem to bad.

Wanted to know what others have been experiencing.

Many Thanks!

I got my production number for my Twilight Purple order early-mid September and in my BMW garage it is still at order received, no status 150 yet. My CA had originally said timeframe is most likely January-March for my car.

Ordered voodoo mid august. Genius says the tentative production date for my car is week 7 2025 (week of feb 9th 2025). I expect to get the car around April unless a miracle happens.

I have to take care of a few things so I was/am hoping for June or July. I am thinking getting an allocation in January would achieve that.

Ha…mine isn’t that expensive. Just paid off wife’s car and have some money in some CDs earning some extra interest. Want to wait for them to mature so I can use the fund to buy the car.

Ordered end of July.
First week of December production is what I’m told.
Should receive it Jan/Feb

Hoping rates drop a bit more by then.

I got an allocation in mid August with a production number, ordered Grigio Telesto. Genius told me week 7 (2nd week of Feb '25) for build. I dont expect to get a VIN until at least December.

No allocatiom yet for TP.

My dealer must have pissed someone off.
They haven't gotten any allocations since July for M2, M3, M5.

Pleanty of allocations for M4 and XM.

WTF?

Ha….my dealer said the same with regards to the M4. He said he could get me an M4 allocation tomorrow if I wanted it. I like the M4 but can’t afford it the way I would want it.

Okay, so my story aligns with your experience.

I don't particularly want two cars with the same front grill. I have an i4 M50.

Also I don't want to pay an extra $20k for the possibility of options I don't care about. My M2 is configured at about $83k with the M-HAS. The same M4 is over $100k and I'm not taking advantage of the extra colors or interior options.

So why would I want an M4?
I want the MT so I'm not even going for extra HP and torque.

I ordered mine in java green at the beginning of August (production # same day); the current estimate for me is week 3 of 2025. If the stars align it should get here just in time for warm weather! Agree with what's been said before - if you're aiming to get it in the spring I wouldn't wait to order.
