Gyeon Glass Coating

Just applied Gyeon's Q2 View. Without any other product with which to compare, I can only report that beading is (very) good, no haze, no streaking, and no neg impact on wiper function (might have helped that I added a little of the coating to the blades).

Took two 15-minute intervals to install--but very easy process. Not sure I'll repeat when this coat wears off...we'll see.

That is what we install on customer vehicles when we do coatings, also a popular service coming up here on winter.

Results and performance are awesome.

Thank you - I have been wanting to get "professional" feedback. I have detailing shop near me and they told me to just forget glass coatings and keep the window clean.
But it's raining so much here in the Netherlands...

I’m also in the “au naturale” camp for glass. Every coating I’ve tried, to me, only made a marginal difference. As the coating wears out, I always ended up with streaky or patchy areas in my wiper contact footprint. The frequency of reapplication to prevent this made the effort not worth the very small benefit.

Now to be fair, I always foam my cars with Griot’s Foaming Poly Gloss before the final rinse, so that does provide some hydrophobicity to my glass. It only lasts one wash, though, and I’ve never experienced any film buildup or wiper streaking.

I have been a lifelong Rain-X man. I used the Cerakote headlight restorer this summer on my E85 and it worked AMAZING. I was shocked. So I tried their windshield ceramic coating. Not impressed. It works OK but for all the work, it works about like (if not less that) the Rain-X I slap on a few times a year and it works perfect. Live and learn.

Windshield care … myself I degrease the glass very I will even foam it with a degreaser or wash it with a degreaser or both .

Then I use nano wax …wipe it on let it sit for 5 minutes wipe it off with a few towels very easy . I was just in the rain and snow and for good 5 minutes didn’t even need to put my wipers on and the wax helps the wipers I feel . Good luck
