Looks good JAB. I think I will do a paint matched duckbill style when my M2 gets here.

I just ordered their rear spoiler. It was between this and TRE from AutoID. I like both but went with this one. I think I will also go with their 1 piece front splitter.

My car is still in final assembly. Still looking for the right spoiler. I like unit17 and CT carbon but I don't think i want carbon. I will have to see what it costs to paint match

Was that the total cost from Unit17 or just the cost to paint it after you purchased the spoiler?

For those who purchased the CT Carbon side skirts.

If there a hump or something that guides you on the installation of the side skirts? I guess I am just wanting to know if they are flat (like R44) or not. If they are flat, is there some kind of guide to let you know how far in or out they have to be when installed?

Sorry if my question does not make sense. Never installed any of these things before so want to get an idea of what I may be in for

I haven’t installed it but looking to order this weekend. from the install video it sounds like the exterior section is raised (better ground clearance) so there should be some groove guide where it should be installed. Sounds similar to the R44 set.

I remember there was a side skirt unit that allowed adjustment to how far it extends. I thought it was ct carbon’s, but rewatching their videos, seems it has a fixed placement.

I'm glad you said that and I think you are correct. I watched their install video and there does appear to be a groove that aids in lining up the side skirts to the car which makes for an easier install. I did not know R44s also had this groove as their video it looks like their side skirts are flat but I could be wrong. I like R44s products but man are they pricey. I am hoping to also purchase CT Carbon's 1 piece front splitter as well.

I think the one that is adjustable is from a Kies install video.

CT carbon’s Black Friday sale has really good discounts, so check it out before it ends this weekend. Really good pricing on their G87 side skirts. The international shipping charges are pretty steep, but acceptable if you’re getting side skirts and a splitter.

Might be the photo angles, but the CT 3 piece splitter seems to have very “rounded” edges, compared to AutoID or Turner. Maybe due to their components being fully boxed.

Not a fan of the CT v2 splitter.

I recall one of the R44 videos mentioned it’s easy to line up the side skirts using a groove line. I think you’re right about the Kies video too. We have obviously been watching plenty of videos shopping for kits.

Yeah, their deals were really good and yes, shipping is steep. I already purchased their rear spoiler and rear winglets. I reached out to them about their 1 piece front splitter. I wanted to ask them if they use the OEM mounting points in addition to self tapping screws. The rep was only able to confirm securing the splitter with self tapping screws and would check about the OEM mounting points.

I think they would have to use the OEM mounting points and the 10mm screws because if they don’t then the screws would get in the way.

Originally, I was going to get the R44 front splitter (pricey but I like it a lot) and the AutoID side skirts because they use the 8 10mm mounting points under the car and also self tapping screws making for an easy install. Now I am kind of leaning to get everything from CT Carbon. Just disappointing their reps don’t know enough about their products to answer some questions but we will see.

From the CT Carbon videos , the one piece V1 splitter should use oem points + self tappers/rivets at the two end points. But not sure about the v2 splitter. Doubt it would rely on self tappers alone. Try DM’ing them via instagram. They reply pretty fast.

I’m with you on the AutoId side splitter mounting points. I also like it’s side profile, somehow looks sleeker vs CT Carbon.

Yeah, I am wanting the V1 splitter. That’s a good idea about reaching out to them via instagram. I will give that a shot!!

Just heard back from CT Carbon. They said the 1 piece does use the OEM mounting points and the OEM 10mm can be reused or we can use the ones they provide.

Can you let me know how the install for the sideskirts is? Just want to confirm if there is a grove (or hump) of some kind to help line up the sideskirts.

Welp...I did it.

I already had the rear spoiler and now got the rear winglets, side skirts, and the 1 piece front splitter. I am now done with the exterior trim mods.

Man...money goes quick....like seconds.

post pictures after installed!

curious, the videos stated they use rivets. do they supply you the drill bit, rivets and optional self tappers? after seeing how they drill holes (R44 does the same) im afraid of drilling right thru the bumper trim pieces!

Will do…once I get the car

I did ask them about the rivets and they said you can use self tappers which they provide (I did not ask them about the drill bit though).

The install of the 1 piece front splitter (did not want the 3 piece) is a similar install to the R44 installation. It uses the same OEM mounting points and OEM 10mm screws. They provide the self tappers for additional security.
