I was going to get one of the ones posted here but I figured I would risk a purchase on AliE since these all came from China. I found a vendor with some decent rating (MUST(汽摩配) Official Store) but there were plenty of combo so I chatted back & forth for about 30 mins or so. Decided I want the LCI stype with a single blue stripe @ 12, + perforated leather. When I sent him a picture of my current wheel to confirm, they even asked me where the paddles were, when I told them it's 6MT, I was told that a set of covers would be included.

I ordered on 10.27 and it arrived in LA on 11.15, the carrier Cainaio tried to deliver to me at my office on Saturday, and they tried again today, except they did so after office hours and left it at the lobby of a 20-floor office building. So when I got the proof while having dinner, I recognized the pictures were taken at the lobby so I drove back. Luckily one of the cleaning crew brought it up to the front desk of my floor.

All told, this is what $492 bought.
We can appreciate everyone looking for a deal, but it really sucks when we come up with an innovative solution that these Chinese factories knock off within months of release. We were the first to put the heated button in that location and have a fully plug and play vibration motor solution to our knowledge. Maybe that's incorrect but we are one of the first.

We understand there may be a cost difference but please take a look beyond face value at the details such as at the carbon pattern on the trim. Ours is dry, pre preg carbon that matches the OEM trim as if you got it from BMW. The clarity in our trim and the quality of the material and stitching is what you are paying for. The heating element and wires being wrapped in OEM quality Tesa tape for long life and protected connections. In addition, please see original wheel marking on our wheel vs how yours is unmarked. OEM cores fit perfect and on an item that keeps you on the road makes sense to have OE construction. We try to focus on the details and hopefully by us joining as a vendor on this forum we can show some of the thought that goes into our products that separate us from other offerings.

If you need anything in the future we would be happy to help anyone on here but please understand not all companies are selling "the same thing" you may have found somewhere online!

On the Monaco Motorsports one, the heat function is real nice, but only the leather parts are heated. Heats quickly, too. On MMS wheel, the vibration unit is not relocated. So far, the wheel has been working flawlessly.

Don't know if you've had the chance to use the heated wheel yet, but man my wife's wheel heats up fast & hot! So much so that I had to turn it off after about 20 seconds.

Yessir! I noticed that, too. Wonder why they don't put any element in the CF part. Might delaminate or wreck the finish?? Seems easy enough if the CF is hollow.

The wheel I installed in the M2 doesn't get as warm, but I did notice the cf bottom section getting warm as well. It rarely gets that cold down here to have to use it. In my wife's it's set to turn on automatically at 55 degrees along with her heated seats, I think.

While the store provided a length of patch wire and heat shrink, it also meant the need to cut and solder.

I have only seen one place supplying a true extension with proper connectors, that's the one from IAW used by 'BMW DIY Guy'.

I generally do not like to cut & splice factory wiring so I inquired at IAW, they wanted $99 for that pigtail since I didn't buy the wheel set from them, but their wheel is also over $300 more.

I then asked the original Ali vendor and they said they have a proper extension with connectors in a week or so, assuming nothing was lost in translation, that would probably be a reasonable source. I will update this when it comes through. Good thing I am too busy to swap at the moment.

Below is what came with mine, a new casing to mount the motor and a piece of patch wire.

This is a follow-up on the vibrator extension. I reached out to the vendor on 11.21, was told that they will have one in a day or 2. Next day they messaged me a link, I ordered the adaptor (think it was $~$2.50 shipping included). They were delivered today 12.03. Vendor indicated this will be included in future shipment instead of the pigtail.

Do you have a link to order this wire?

It was a temporary link, try to message the seller, below is one of their items. Not sure about the price for a stand-alone purchase.

Attach the picture of the cables when you do.
