Installed PedalHaus pedal set

Installed the PedalHaus M2 pedal kit with the engraving on the foot rest. The foot rest is the only piece that does not fit exactly as its shape is for the F87 M2 - but it still works. Gotta look real close to see it's not a perfect fit.

The other 3 pedals fit perfectly & are very easy to install. The kit comes with a dummy pedal (metal) template you use as a guide to locate where you want/can drill for the screws to hold the brake & clutch pedals.

You need to remove the OEM pedal covers on the brake and clutch pedals. Use a heat gun to warm em up a little & soften the rubber. The pedal cover stretches around and fits very tightly onto the pedals.

Note that the clutch pedal is a composite plastic and the brake pedal is metal. Drill a small pilot hole using the template as a guide then drill the larger hole for the screw. You only need 2 screws to hold the metal plate into the pedal.

I put the screws in the upper right corner and lower left corner on both pedals.

How do they feel? Happy with the money and time spent? I’ve had those on a maybe/someday list, but worry they will get slippery when wet (I’m in Seattle).

Howdy! I really like the way they feel. They really hold the foot in place in the clutch, brake & accelerator. The raised dots keep your foot from slipping off the pedal. Not that the OEM pedals are slippery, but these are definitely more secure feeling.

Check out the pic for what the raised areas look like.

Those look great actually. How was the install? Let’s say for the sake of argument that I am an install baby and get nervous when I have to drill a new car…

Even though you're drilling the OEM pedal it's just the mounting pedal. you are removing the pedal cover to get at the mounting plate that is the actual pedal.

Start with one of your very small diameter bits to drill a pilot hole. Then you will use a larger bit to drill the actual hole thru which the bolt will go. You need that pilot hole to guide the larger bit & ensure it stays on the pedal. The large but will jump/slide on the plate without that pilot hole.

Those holes are the most difficult aspect of installation but I would rate that difficulty a 2. Make sure you have bits that can drill thru metal and don't use a lot of pressure when drilling. Def let the bit do the work.

PH supplies a metal template that has protrusions on the back that seat the template in the exact place it needs to be against the OEM pedal mounting plate so you can drill the holes in the right spots. Put that in place, hold it there and drill your pilot holes. Easy peasy!!

The foot rest and accelerator use self-tappong screws and 3M double sided tape. I added more tape for more security.

Hit me up if you need help/advice when you're ready to install.
