Looking on getting a AA catted downpipe and was wondering if buying them used is a good idea. I see people on FB marketplace selling them for around $700-$800, or is it worth buying one new.

Mike at X-PH has a good deal on the active and gesi now. I got the gesi and no cel and love the gains and sound.

whats the difference between the gesi and active?

Nothing in performance. GESI is EPA registered and compliant in 49 states. The active is not registered. Both are not CARB approved.

Can't go wrong at those prices, considering you spend twice as much when you buy new and have to pay taxes. Install/uninstall is quite simple, not much to go wrong with them, no CEL and sounds phenomenal.

I have one for sale in central TX that we used for less than 5k miles before we sold the M240i. $850 shipped, $800 picked up. I have it under my wife (Janet) FB marketplace.
