got my car back. new mods.
warning: car hasn't been washed for a couple of weeks; but its protected with full xpel. ;-) got my car back with the 4pot Brembo rear bbk; the dentprotony kit. finally, the rear brakes feel like they're doing some work now, similar to my past f87s notes: very nice kit, installed by a bmw master tech; said fitment is very good. hit as many bumps as possible today. there are zero rattles with this kit. the stock configuration would always rattle around. these g8x cars have better straight line braking control relative to the f8x, but the rear axle always felt it was just along for the ride under heavy braking. not anymore! can't wait till march madness/track season. Those 826M wheels look great on the G87. I'm surprised the parking brake is also painted red instead of a more concealing color like black or silver to get your eye to focus more on the 4 pots. Is that how the kit came?

just a few hours of labor. The master tech I use is an indy mechanic. I would not bring this kit to any dealer unless I wanted to prepare myself for a lecture
contact dentprotony@gmail.com for cost unless he chimes in here. |
