It's almost over.

EDIT: crap I got owned by the app again. Sorry G42 bros. Meant to post this in the G87 thread.
Did you get the big wing? or just the lip?

Just the lip. Not a fan of big wings.

I should've never doubted you sir

I have a question about which port it's being dropped off at. The Genius recording said it scheduled to arrive at Baltimore on 12/16. The paperwork from my build has NYC as "Port Loc". Will it be dropped off in Baltimore or NYC?

You Eastern folks are killing me😀. I have been in “ready for transport” for about 10 days with no update. Still waiting for a ship I guess . Must be a California thing . Glad you are all getting close to delivery . Will be some nice Xmas presents for sure .

Forgot to answer the assembly complete part. My car from "Production Begins" to "Final Assembly" took 2 days. From "Final Assembly" to "Ready for Transport" took 27 days. Again, your experience may vary.

Try this one: https://www.marinetraffic.com. It's up to date and seems to be more accurate.

Thank you. My salesperson told me to not expect the car until the end of January or early February.

My 230i has been 'scheduled for production' since December 6 but today I found out that the production week is the third week of January. I will be lucky if I get the car in early March. And by end of April, I will back up north and the car will sit in my garage in Florida on a trickle charger.

I mounted my sto'n'sho plate mount tonight, looks good and comes off easily.
Don't know if BMW works different than Ford. Did you tell them not to do all that stuff before or after the car arrived at the dealership? The biggest thing I don't want to be done is the drilling for the license plate. Not sure if certain things are done at the VPC. My car is at the VPC now so if they do certain things I don't want done I want to contact the dealer ASAP.

I asked them as soon as the car was in transport. For my car the dealer would've had to install the bracket. I have the bracket in my stock parts box in the garage.

Thanks! So as soon as the car leaves VPC and is on it's way to the dealership I will give them a call and tell them all the things NOT to do.
