3.7 seems to be the sweet spot for no/minimal mods (intake and catback) with factory tires. Start adding meaningful power and it becomes too much for the tires and time is lost due to wheelspin.

I'm thinking with meaningful performance mods (JB4, xHP, and downpipe), and sticky tires in proper weather/temp, this is a 3.1 second car. Sticky tires being the key once power is added.

How about some Sport Cup 2's on Apex 10" rear and 9" fronts? lol...
2.99 is my goal! IDK if I can get there without a turbo upgrade, but we will see...

Resurrecting an old thread here but I just got a 3.85. BMS intake, stage 3 XHP trans tune. I need to do better. Think I know what I was doing wrong lol. Dragy is pretty cool

Edit: not including the 1 foot rollout

I love my RWD G42 but if I had the option I probably would've added xdrive just for the straight line fun. Never need AWD in Texas TBH

It will also keep you from entering the hedges in corners too.
Mind you, I’ve been to Texas, not many corners IIRC.

don't mean to revive an old thread but this is my time with a basically stock m240i, just had an exhaust on at time of this run. It started raining 30 seconds before the run, it was about 39F outside, and I am on kind of crappy all seasons. Can def be a lot faster.
