Does anyone know the actual difference in boost pressure between the g80 and g87 tunes? I have a gts black waiting to go in my car and considering just installing it with the g80 tune out the gate. Car has intakes and full exhaust, catless dps. I really don’t see how the g80 tune would hurt the g87. Of course RC isn’t going to recommend it because if they say yes and something goes wrong, they’d be on the hook for the warranty claim. Besides that I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t okay it.

Between the 2025 G87 and the G80 base I’d say they’re the exact same. Both are making “473” hp

I just let Racechip know that I’ll be installing their G82 (473hp) tune on my 2025 G87 (473hp)
Told them I wasn’t looking for their blessing or feedback but offered to share my experience with them if they were interested.
I’ll also be starting a new thread starting with the install and updating periodically as I progress through the RC maps and how the RC works with the additional upgrades done to the car.
Wider rear rubber will be added immediately

All is well after 2 weeks on the updates. Car feels really good. Leaves a noticeable gap doing pulls with a stock m2
