Question for moderators - why don't G42 owners have their own area?
I have only been a member for a bit over a year now and I have often wondered why the G42 cars are lumped in (under) the G87 area?
All other body styles seem to have their own separate areas but for some reason, the G42 cars are listed in with the G87 area and well down that page. G42 owners have to scroll down the page to get to that section. It almost appears to be in the same area as the G87 - and the G87 is always listed first - just look at the banner at the top of this page! Shouldn't the G42 cars have their own area now? I can understand that maybe in the beginning it was all one section but here we are now almost 4 model years later and the G42 doesn't have its own section. What I am talking about is shown below. Am I missing something? Are G42 owners always supposed to feel like step children to the G87? Thanks. |

I was just thinking the same thing.
It looks like the link is not correct. If you click on 2 - G42 you get the same start screen as if you click on M2 - G87 In the previous generation (F22/F23) it is ok and a separate page. Last edited by Mario68; 01-05-2025 at 08:49 AM.. |

Maybe because navigation is easier with all 2-series together? How difficult is it? You're already in the header!
Us E82 folk here in the USA are "lucky" I suppose in that "1-series" implies only one series or generation. If I were you, I'd just be thankful you weren't dumped in with the FWD 2-series. |
