The Bose in my Infiniti is pretty mediocre . But after I added a 12 , i was able to live with it. Only difference is for the install , I cut and spliced into the factory wiring for the install . Definitely not going that route for the bmw |

Also , I'm assuming the 4 speaker wire high inputs into the LC2i are connected to the TecnicPNP harness ? |

Yes sir! With your help, your pictures and your links, I was able to install everything perfectly it's actually a fairly easy and simple install, with everything located in the trunk. The hardest part was knowing which wires to use from the harness. And also for whatever reason with the amp that I have, I have to keep the line output converter switch over setting on all the time to keep the subwoofer on all the time even when the volume is very low. But everything works great. Thank you again for your help

No, lol. It's just a very generic basic cheap setup. It's just a Sony 12-in in a non-ported box. With a small Sony amp just big enough to push the 12-in. The amp is just mounted directly to the box, with rubber bushings in between the amp and box.

Thinking about going with the alpha one amp upgrade which has an RCA out for subwoofer amp. I had just planned to go with an 8 or 10 in sub with suitable amp. Where did you access a remote in wire for amp? Is there anything else I should consider in this setup? Will I need to disconnect subs under seat?

I went to install my TechnicPnP harness yesterday. Had the trunk torn apart and opened the package only to discover I was sent some other harness for a different vehicle. No chance this was going to fit. I waited three weeks for the wrong part to arrive...

Here are some photos of my 8" JL powered sub install with TechnicPNP harness. I wrapped all the cables with cable tape to have one lead going to the sub. I also bought the heavy duty 3m velcro rectangles and stuck them to the bottom of the sub box. The velcro tape sticks to the trunk lid material and does not move. You have to really tug on it to get it to release, plus it looks much cleaner than anything else I've seen.

I have removed the system to put in my new car and will pick up a shorter RCA cable. The trunk liner looks completely undamaged. I was concerned about it initially, but if you compare it to brackets and tied tiedowns fastened to the liner there are no holes drilled.

With that Tecnic harness it is all plug and play, no splicing into the factory harness/wires?
