Hi all, I have my car in a public car park today and when I returned my key wouldn’t work. I unlocked the car with the app and saw that my ID has been disconnected, the seat was moved and the radio station changed. Has someone tried to unlock my car and steal it? It’s the G87 M2 2023 model. Cheers

if your id was removed from the car, unlock via app would not work.. an you´ll get a mail from bmw that your car has been removed from your account,,,

Any ideas what may have happened? Is it a software glitch or somone trying to add their own id to steal it?

i think it´s a glich. why you think someone wanted to steal it? do dou see any reasnons for that? ( different smell inside?, things in Cupholfer/ armrest in different order?)

those changes are normal when id changed...

your "Digital" Key might not connected to your id.. you can connect it in your id settings ( while no other key is near the car)

As mentioned this is a normal behavior when your ID is not present.

Did you take your other key with you by mistake? Your second key may not be registered to your ID. Otherwise is a bug in the iDrive that logged you out or something.
