Soba noodles and katsuobushi!
Buckwheat noodles and smoked shaved skipjack tuna with sesame oil, tamari, sesame seeds and nori. Really good! Grapes for dessert. |

I decided to try something new. The final product looked okay, but the crust was not the greatest. It didn't rise and turned out to be more like cookie dough.
 Lesson learned. I'll stick to my Tipo 00. |

Store bought Calzones. Very disappointing PC offering as President's Choice® usually has top shelf products.
I added some tomatoes and cheese to the second one as the first one was nothing but dough and a practically empty interior. It reminded me of the oven fired pizza I bought last year, also from Italy. Great appetizing looking picture but tasted like cardboard. Another lesson learned. |
