This is the state of my Discovery after a week of taking Frank & Bella out once a day in it….takes me about an hour every week to clean it up

Yeah Bella’s the little chubby one She’s was a rescue, have had her for nearly 4 years now, & was advertised as a German Shepherd cross. As we couldn’t agree on what other breed/s she is crossed with we had her DNA tested, turns out she is Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute & German Shepherd.
Out of the ten most shedding dogs she’s No’s. ten, six & two. Frank we’ve had since he was 5 months old, he’s now eight

Here's the latest photo of the 6yr old rescue that we adopted last June. She has fit in just fine...and we definitely were cat-less for too long.

Good on you to adopt an adult. Ours was 2 years old when we adopted her from the local shelter. She's 12 now. I can't remember the name they gave her but we named her Samantha, though we never call her that. It's kitty or baby or something affectionate like that.

This is the second time we've adopted an adult rescue. Our last one was a 2yr old...she was with us for 16 years. Being old had me reluctant to adopt again. Plus, my wife assists the rescue with socializing trapped kittens and their mothers (if possible). My small job is to let them hang out with me...

So, just a small update...
Been a rough couple weeks for my girl, her appointment with the oncologist turned into a two day affair. They confirmed the lymphoma, its progression and that it was treatable, but also found that her liver was failing. This required 5 IV treatments to flush the toxins (first one they did - other 4 needed done by my wife and I). They also gave her the first cancer treatment - which was non-chemo. Blood tests on the 20th showed she was responsive to the previous treatments, and the liver was functioning again, thus the wife has decided to fight this in full. From this, she had her first chemo treatment on the 23rd. In case others ever find themselves in this situation, financially, the first few days of testing and treatment were ~$2.6K, another $150 for blood work (bi-weekly) and the chemo's run ~$480 on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for the foreseeable future (to remission, guessing 4 months). All said, we'll be over 11K on this (which, is not any guarantee). Yeah - can forget the Meds - and the Meds to combat side effects of those Meds. We now have a small pharmaceutical in our kitchen. In all - though she's dropped 20lbs (which really - much like me, she needed to drop 20lbs) and has some decent side effects showing already (pretty much she's getting a shower every day), she's actually looking good. She's been much more active, been eating again, and she's smiling. She shivers when in the snow (but wont come in) - hence the towel/jacket she's wearing. Most importantly though, we got to celebrate her 10th Birthday this past weekend. It will be a rough few months to get through here and to some extent, will have other obstacles to overcome, but I'm sure she'll come out much better. On a lighter note, the doggie door we have so she can go out when she wants is now being used by the kitty - as she's starting to chase birds in the back yard (she's to be an indoor cat).
