The main thing was (no politics) and when someone even mentions government or voting etc it goes on a minus table, you couldn't really discuss that much as the whole thing of EV's is/was being forced in by the rulers.

Like many teens kids at that time, I picked up the guitar in 1964 an this was the first song I learned. I've been playing off and on ever since and still learning! I just played this song again this morning. Music is such a cool timestamp on our memories.

I was lucky enough to have seen the Eric Burdon and Animals at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds in 1967. What a show.

...and she was a very good drummer too. I got to see the Carpenters twice; once at the Hollywood Bowl and a second time in Honolulu. An incredible show and one of the best voices in the business.
