2023 G42 230i xDrive - GCA stainless steel exhaust sound clip

Cons:
- condensation was leaking heavily from all the clamps so I ended up using an exhaust sealant
- also I ended up using a functional fuse tap from a dash cam setup. GCA included single type of fuse with the exhaust which I didn’t like
- no any manuals were included in the box with torque specs or detailed hardwire setup
- valve controller power wire was equipped with cigarette lighter plug - I cut it off
- cold start is loud and not pleasant if valves are opened
- delivery took about a month or so

Pros:
- sound is very good for 4 cylinders, especially on a highway. Not too loud and not too quiet is the first impression
- 2 remotes are included
- sport/comfort/eco mode works same as before but valves are controlled by a remote now
- valves are 100% open now
- price is $2250 which is the cheapest
- very good package
- fast responses from a customer support (they shared pdf high level hardware instructions)

Wow! Great write up and photos/video. Seems like a solid option, but I wonder why they don't offer an axel back so you'd just be able to section in to the existing mid pipe by using a compression sleeve.

Converting to quad tips gives the rear a whole different look. Nicely done.

Yeah, it’s not even a titanium version which is $1K more. Crazy prices but so far I’m enjoying driving around with it

They offer axle back option actually which is $1700. In the full version there’s no resonators anymore though

I paid $1150 USD for a stainless steel catback thru AliBaba. Perfect fit, quad exhaust tips, two remotes. The titanium version was less than yours actually.

It's a perfect exhaust and sounds awesome. People really should look into the Ali exhausts there's no reason to pay so much for welded pipe and a muffler, US companies just taking the piss and calling it a boutique product
