What is this mark? Post ppf

I recently got my car ppf'd with xpel from an authorized xpel installer. I only got the ppf about a month after getting the vehicle because I noticed how prone the paint is to chips and swirl marks. The installer said they would touch up and buff out as much as they can before applying the ppf. I also gave them black sapphire metallic touch up paint and clear coat from bmw.

The day I got back the car, I noticed these white marks, they feel completely smooth, and I don't understand where they came from. I never noticed it before. The PPF is slightly covering it. I'm wondering what it could be before I message the ppf installer. Did they cause this damage? I'm wondering if when they heat the edges it ended up causing paint damage on the plastic bumper?
