Cost breakdown on the M240i I just put my order deposit down on...

Put a build together and farming it out to my local dealers. Trade in will be my achilles. My first response 2% off and we were several grand off on their trade in offer. Not sure if we get to those magic numbers, it would be cool to get into one sooner than later but I can wait.

Have a 230i M Sport out for proposals..am seeing quotes for ~4% off MSRP.

Quotes are close; within a couple of hundred so customer service will likely be the tipping point.

Will do PCD so dealer location is not a significant factor.

Hopefully will finalize a deal before month end.

Inked a deal after a getting 4.2% off sticker. Best I was able to negotiate locally.

I picked up my 25' M240xi a month ago. I worked with multiple brokers to get the best deal. Originally quoted 6%, ended up getting 8% off. $62,600 dropped to $56,672.

There are deals out there to be made. Went with this deal, couldn’t find any dealer willing to beat it. Majority of the dealers I negotiated with were only willing to give 9% off.

Yeah, I worked with Han's at nextlevelautobrokers (https://nextlevelautobrokers.com/) I was referred into him and he was great to work with. I reached out to him Nov 26th. Sent me multiple different allocations that didn't fit my color preferences. On Nov 28th, he found the black on black colors which I wanted. And it had the cooling & tire package which I didn't need. But 2 days turn around seemed too good for me to wait around. I purchased the car at BMW of Rockville and picked it up on Christmas Eve.

This was my first car buying experience. I cannot complain! Hoping for the same experience with a M2 or M3 touring if they come to the states.

That "willing to give 9% off MSRP" aligns with my experience from shopping and buying in mid-Dec 2024. Out of the ~15 dealers I was getting quotes and negotiating with, I had 2 come in with that as their best and final offer.. and then another 2 that were willing to match it once I showed them proof (offer from other dealers). From there, it was just picking the best color / option combo out of the 4 that were priced where I wanted.
And for reference, 9% off MSRP was before the $1,500 military discount.

My deal was better than 9% off MSRP, that’s before rebates.

Deal done locally with 5.2% discount from MSRP. Now the waiting begins...for an allocation this month, production # and any possible tariff-induced price increase...which will kill the deal. No deposit was required, and written order specified no price increase, so we have nothing at risk.

The 2 series is the sweet spot for us...size and price wise so hope we "visit" the Performance Center again this summer!
