Anybody here tried a catless downpipe without any ecu tune? Did any error code pop up?

You will get a CEL.

If you want to run downpipes with no tune, the catted options from Active Autowerke and Fabspeed guarantee no CEL.

I've been looking for oxygen sensor spacers with the mini catalytic converter in it
that will allow me to run a catless downpipe with no check engine light

if you dont want a CEL and you are not flash tune, get the active or Fabspeed downpipes

yeah I tried MADs catless downpipes but removed them next day. Crazy loud when combined with single midpipe. Be sure You think it through before purchasing. With sound levels I measured I would have been banned from the race tracks.

catless downpipes will make every setup a lot louder, it's definitely something worth considering before making a purchase; the catted downpipes are a better option, in my opinion, unless your goal is to get a very aggressive sound.

How do these cars run with 200 cell catted downpipes. Just preparing for it … Hopefully it runs about the same just louder and less pressure on the turbos

they run just fine , but expect a very loud cold start and a raspy wide open throttle

That I’m not worried about thanks for the info … Now I can talk my wife into doing intake manifold charge pipes aux radiators heat exchanger trans cooler engine oil cooler upgrade some twins and fuel system 🤣🤣🤣

With all that (in case you forgot, change injectors and colder plugs...and of course, the tune), you don't want to upgrade the twins, you would want to go single big turbo. You will also need to, at the very least, tune the trans or go with an aftermarket Pure transmission.

I have the xhp to tune the trans, I’ll deff look into colder plugs and add port injection

Has anyone tried the Akrapovic catted downpipe with stock ECU? Any lower gain? Did the CEL come up?

Yep exhaust down pipes mid pipe intakes … I’m trying to find a way post a video here
