Alright, I'm submitting my request to order a 2025 M240i
Just wanted to be sure on a few things...
First, the cooling package has been added to my build, but I'm under the impression that the US models already come with the bigger calipers... I scanned a few older threads from '22 and '23 and there was no definitive conclusion. It would appear the car is coming with the red calipers so I assume this is the larger? (wish we could choose our color, tbh) Second, I opted for xDrive, is getting the squared wheelset preferred for rotations, or is staggered the way? I don't exactly want to fork out every year on expensive tires just because of wear, and I'm pretty comfortable rotating myself. Were there any benefits of one over the other? FTR: I do intend to drop the car on static, not all the way down onto the perches, but I want to close the wheel gap. Does the cooling package pick this option for me already given the high performance wheels/tires added? Appreciate the insight. |

You get bigger brakes with ztk, bigger than the non-ztk. There is a thread floating around showing how you can tell the difference. It is subtle.
Ztk picks your wheels for you as far as I know. It will be the staggered wheel and tire setup. Good thing is the car comes with pilot sport 4 s star compound tires, so you don't have to replace run flats like on the other options... If you want longer tire life, you can always switch to a ps-as 4 which as a daily will last far longer.
