Glass controls

Hello! I just got a 2025 Thundernight m240i and noticed mine was optioned out with the glass controls. I did not know that the 2 series came with glass controls? Does anyone else here have them? I personally really like them lol. It feels good to be back in a 2. My last two cars were an 840i coupe and an m850i gran coupe. Missed having a smaller car.

Glass controls are a new option on the '25 model year.

I had a X5 loaner a while back with glass controls and I did see a chip in the start/stop button, so...don't drop anything on them.

What? Wasn't an option when I ordered my 25. I did swap in that start button though, it's great.

That looks like the aftermarket glass controls that I installed on my car. It's great that it's now an option because it is a nightmare to remove the center control

Just went to the U.S. build and price and didn't see it listed anywhere as an option. Do you happen to have your window sticker? Curious to see what it's listed as.

I can't comment when it became an option since it took BMW Canada until December to update their website to show the 25 model year. It is an option on the Canadian configurator under the more options section for $900 CAD for the 230i and 240i.

Since the OP's location is in the USA, seems he has it too, so not Canada specific. Maybe this was updated after the first few months of ordering? BMW has a reputation for not having their configurators up to date, so maybe it is still missing from the USA one right now as angermgmt20 says.

Maybe the dealer traded/got it from a Canadian dealership as he is in Minnesota?
(close to Canadian border)

Fair wedge of cash for nicer dials and buttons when the same amount could be spent on Eibach Springs and spacers all round!

“Nicer” is subject. Personally never dreamed of having a vajazzled knob.
