Winter Clean

Give the M4 a deep winter clean today.Started with GT Decon diluted 1:20 in a spray bottle used as a pre wash on the lower half then power wash rinsed to remove traffic film.

Wheels sprayed with Labocosmetica Sidero diluted 1:4 in spray bottle to remove iron particles, also foamed with GT wheel shampoo in a IK Foamer them power wash rinsed.

Car foamed all over using GT demineralisation shampoo diluted 1:10 in my foam lance, left to dwell for 5 mins then power rinsed off.

Bucket wash using GT car shampoo then power rinsed off.

Dried using my leaf blower and a couple of towels to mop up the rest.

Glass treated with Gyeon Quick View. This should help keep the windscreen clear through winter.

Tyres treated with Gyeon Tire Express.

Stunning looking car.

I'm a big 'fan' of GT and Gyeon products.

Have you tried Koch Chemie Protector Wax after your final rinse, I really rate it. 15ml in 500ml of water in my foam cannon is more than enough to full cover my X5 M60i, spray on and rinse off. I find it much more economical than Gyeon Wet Coat.

****That looks GREAT! Really nice detailing job. It is snowing in my area, and the roads are covered with salt here so cars are in need of a decent cleaning once everything melts and dries out.

Thanks.

No I have not tried that.Im currently using Labocosmetica Beneficia which is a spray sealant. It takes a couple of squirts per panel and gives good gloss with good beading. It takes very little to dry it with my leaf blower.

***That's a good tip about the spray sealant. I use a a lot of Griot's Garage products and they seem to work well for me.

I spend a lot of time detailing my cars. I really enjoy doing it and learning about products that work well.

You have a beautiful car.

Thank you.

Yeah I love cleaning my car and spend more time cleaning than driving it.

Used Bilt Hamber Touchless for the first time today along with the Active 2.0. To say I was impressed by both would be an understatement. There was a ton of salt/dirt on the car and it looks amazing after with zero contact wash. I am hooked. Maine winters are terrible.
