It is, really hit home when I parked next to this Aston and mines lowered quite a bit.

I think if your coming from an Alfa QV the M2 is definitely a bit more numb but it’s by no means blunt I’ve driven the Gillia QV plenty as I had a Stelvio QV for a few years and they are definitely more emotive. Totally agree the m mode and m button split is a massive quality of life gripe. I just find the m2 comes to life once your on it and is more relaxing that the alfas when your not.

On my M2 it's 7.5" from the ground to the bottom of the front fascia and 6.5" to the bottom of the rocker panels. Comparatively, my Z06 sits 3.25" (front) & 3.5" (side) off the ground. The M2 is damn near an SUV

You can't like cars, driving, or mechanical engineering unless you row gears like 90yrs ago.

By this logic we should all stop using fuel injected engines and go back to steam. It goes both ways with the all or nothing arguments.
Real “enthusiasts” don’t have automatic windows. Hand crank makes for more driver involvement.

Greetings! I'm considering replacing the OEM battery with a lithium battery. Could you share what lithium battery you went with please? Thanks!

What a great thread. You BMW folks sure like to talk 😀. Sorry to the OP you aren’t happy. Valid points vs your previous rides. However, I think you are somewhat like me. And good news, the aftermarket is insane for the M2. You can spice it up pretty easily with performance mods, suspension, etc. The auto is perfect for the “fastest adrenaline” rush and the sun roof lets in the rays like your other rides. So, just drop some fun change and make your M2 come alive with any one of the aftermarket upgrades. Or just donate your M2 to me and let me spice it up for you. It’s just waiting to be loved on.

I don't normally get involved in 'such' discussions, but as fellow forum members in a common interest I'm pretty disappointed in the petty nature of these type of threads.

Skin color, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, political persuasions. We all vary and we all like something different. THATS WHAT MAKES THE WORLD SUCH A FANTASTIC PLACE.

Wars are started and people die from humans being intolerant of each other.
IT"S BULLSHIT guys.

Lets drive our wonderful cars, share our experiences and enjoy our time.
I know I'm better than these kinds of chilidish discussions and I'd like to think my fellow enthusiasts are too.

OUT!
