not bad for your first attempt! only way to get better is to keep shooting, so go out there and shoot! might want to try and choose a more desirably lighted background

you also need to clean the lens or the CMOS sensor - you have a grain of dirt in the same place on each photo. CMOS if I'm guessing.
BTW, cool pics, I was just giving you a hard time. The colors look a little funny, which is most likely your white balance being off.
