I can confirm 18x9 +25 with a 255/35/18 fits. It looks a bit silly with the car not lowered yet but it fits. Might move up to a 265/40/18 after my mss springs come from extreme power house. Pictures coming tonight!

Hi all, looking for a little help with finding a wheel. I am planning on putting winter tires on my stock rims for my winter set and plan on buying a summer set of wheels and tires. I have really fallin in love with the Motech MW3 but would like to purchase something here in the states and also keep a 19" wheel instead of 20". Does anyone know of any wheels with a similar design available in the US?
Wheels for reference. https://motechperformanceshop.myshop...k-motech-wheel Thanks! |

I ordered my 23 with the 791 perf run-flat (only for speedo increase). It does say they're staggered 225/255. I'm looking to order some performance all seasons since I'll be taking delivery in the winter most likely.
Does anyone recommend staggered all seasons? I'm looking at the pilot sport all season 4's. In all honesty I'll probably be leaving them on for at least the first full year until I get new summer rims. |

Do you think there's 7mm room on all sides for a 18x8 +45 set? Trying to use my existing winter setup for my GTI.

Some new pictures of the car now lowered with a rw carbon lip. Ignore the dirty wheels. White wheels in Washington state is tough.

So I'm thinking of this setup for winter. 19x8.5 +25mm front and back with 255/35 R19 tires. Is anyone running the same size wheels and tires and can confirm they fit. I have the ZTK cooling and high performance package.

245's would be more ideal on 8.5, and the wheel you're looking at is same size and offset as OEM w/ZTK so it will obviously fit the front and being smaller than the OEM rear wheel it will certainly fit the back.

How would 245s do on an 8.0” rim?
A local aftermarket shop found some Pirelli Sottozero size 245/35HR19 to go with four Petrol P3s at 19x8. Are those tires too wide for those rims? |

Though on an 18"x8J rim, 245mm is the staggered rear tire size for my 235 from factory.

I have 255s on 8.5" rims...a fairly vertical sidewall fitment...I think your 245s on 8"s should be good.

Does anyone have any experience talking to their dealer about winter wheels sets from BMW?
BMW says these fit online but I’m skeptical: https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1...L-AND-TIRE-SET Pretty good looking (both physically and in price!) |

One thing I noticed: the tires are 195/55 front and rear. So they're not good at all for spirited driving. But it should be a great size to get through snow. |

I think the “set” is in that the wheel and tire come together. But even then, 2k total for a whole OEM winter set up is not bad. Sure you could put together a package yourself, but then you get into having to deal with all the dimension calculations, and it seems no 3rd party websites have any confirmed wheels for the G42.

Would this fit on a ZTK car?
A question for people who know more about wheel fitment than me (pretty much everybody...)
Looking to get these wheels for winter on an incoming 240 with the ZTK package. The offsets are slightly different. Front is 30 vs the stock 25 and rear is 42 vs the stock 35. Would these be OK? For ther front wheel the comparison tool says: "Tire is 5 mm closer to suspension components. Rim is 5 mm closer to suspension components. Acceptable for most cars" and "Rim offset is more than OE, so brake support will be closer to the rim. Make sure they are not touching." For the rear it says "7mm closer to suspension" https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=30mm&sr=0mm What do you guys think?

I'm running 245/35/19 Continental DWS06+ on 8" rims with no problems. 255/35/19 Continental DWS06+ on the rear 8.5" rims. A few other guys on here have done the same. I've had no issues nor have I read of others having any problems. Good luck!

You can always add 5mm/7mm spacers if they're closer than you like to the suspension. |

In Canada, in the middle of February, nobody cares how a car looks. The goal is just to survive winter. But spacers is a good idea.

I need some good advice here...
I've been working with a local aftermarket shop that has always been good to me. They were aware of my situation (our situation) and the difficulties associated with getting all the stuff that looks good and fits. Thinking that they're far more competent than me in this realm (and they most certainly are), I put myself in their hands. They set me up with four 19x8 Petrol P3C rims wearing Pirelli Sottozero 3 snow tires in the stock ZTK size of 245 in the front and 255 rear. They knew that I wanted to avoid spacers if possible so I assumed that they would be taking offset into consideration when finding me wheels. They showed me a design that I liked and I told them to pull the trigger. It's my fault for making sure that everything was perfect before doing so. When I picked up the car a few days ago I was horrified to see that the offset wasn't even close to stock fit. Per the Petrol website, the wheels have an offset of 40. A lot of people might be fine with the way the car looks as it is, but I'm not, and I suspect most people reading this wouldn't be either. Furthermore—unless I am mistaken— the narrower stance of the wheels at the front axel could have a detrimental effect on the car's steering components. I know that too wide a stance can be bad, so it stands to reason that too narrow is as well, right? Does anyone here have advice about what size spacers I need to reach stock fitment? Does anyone here have any advice about what manufactures to look out for? I didn't want to get spacers, but here I am... |
