But in my case, my Production Date was today, and I entered the assembly line just today around noon. (at least according to the tracker). Wasted a bunch of refresh cycles the last two days, staring at the lady with the freckles. I'll let you know how I progress to give you an idea.

According to my CA, my car is on the Glovis Cardinal that departed Veracruz on 9/24. After it left Veracruz, the GC sat for 4 days waiting for a berth at Altamira. It finally got back underway again on 10/2 with Brunswick as its next destination on 10/6. Right now, it is coming around the Keys....

Today I progressed through, paint, entering assembly line, assembly started (154), quality check. Then stopped there (155) and they bumped my production date to tomorrow (5th).
I guess it was Corona time for the night shift. I was surprised that they could paint and assemble the same day. Thought paint needed time to cure. Anyway. Hoping the day shift comes loaded with coffee and finish her off.

I've only seen a sample size of two cars in the past month, but in both cases when they were ultimately switching to 'Ready for Transport' it happened around midnight EST. In my case, it was on a Sunday night into Monday, which seems very strange. |

And the production date switched back from the 5th to the 4th. (It is still the 4th at the factory for the next 2 hrs) Looks like the Night Shift decided to go back in 😎

I think the post Corona crew eyeballed my M2 and went - “we don’t need no stinking quality check, it’s good to go, send it.” [sound of M2 doing donuts in the parking lot]

This is why I think that BMW is still primarily using Veracruz for east coast shipments: I was expecting mine to ship out of Altamira but it went to 195 while the ship was anchored out at sea waiting for a berth at Altamira. It was then that I realized it was already loaded at Veracruz. So, to BMW, it was in fact in transit to the dealer - the ship had a stop at Altamira for more vehicles (probably not BMWs). With the delay in My Garage updating by several days, some would think their cars are loaded in Altamira when in fact they were loaded a Veracruz. This additional stop Altamira delayed my car's delivery by another 6-7 days! |

Just got an update from my CA that it’s already shipped and expected to arrive in NJ on 10/15. Says I should have it roughly a week after that.
Also my garage still says “ready for transport” |

Congrats to all who are now on the water. It won’t be long now. Exciting.
Seems like things are moving for the group. I’m now selling my old Corvette/Camaro parts and buying BMW Gxx ones 😎
