He did, Dinan. Though you should just get coilovers if you can
Well lowering your car at all will impact driving dynamics for better and worse. I personally won't sacrifice any more comfort in an already bumpy car. It handles great and I don't track or autocross it. Depends how much you lower it. |

I have adaptative dampers, yes. So how is your experience? Do you have extra problems with speed bumpers and those kind of things? Do you recommend it ? Could you send us a link of those Dinan springs¿ |

I am having them installed on Monday. I bought them from Dinan's website.
If you have adaptive dampers, springs are really your best option unless you are going to be at the track often.

I do have adaptive dampers. Then again I've had a Lexus before and I'm probably comparing the ride quality to how comfortable those cars are

I've heard springs won't last as long as coilovers and also have a chance of messing up struts. I don't know how this relates to the G42 with adaptive dampers though. I know Dinan also released bump stops which may change things.

Springs can cause struts to fail if they over compress the strut, but are not going to hurt it otherwise. There is the threat of more wear but its probalby marginally more than normal. I have some confidence that since BMW offer lowering springs on the G87 that are the same max drop as the static drop on the Dinan springs. Some lowering springs are dropping the car 1.5 inches or more, and I would definitely expect those to have an adverse effect.

(If you click the picture you can see a higher resolution version) I will post a review after I have some more driving time in. So far so good its a big improvement towards my goals for the car.

Have some slight rub on hard cornering up front. Have not isolated it to the spacer or the tire yet. Not a concerning amount of rub and no witness marks on car or tire yet. I think it's coming from the tire touching the fender liner.

To early to tell.
Gonna drive it for a week to see if the rub goes away or improves. Then I will pull spacers off the front to see if it goes away. 245/35 is an oem tire size and what is on my summer tires that came with the car, I know that won't rub.

Thanks, I am really liking the springs but I just don't want to give my complete thoughts with only 100 miles driving on them.

Imo black wheels look worst on light colored cars, but on a black car they can be a great option. It is all about the overall look of the car!

Yeah, gloss black wheels on a white car is a bit harder to pull off.
The black / stealth / murdered out look still looks good imo. And add in some carbon fiber for a nice touch. I plan on adding the Tre spoiler soon, so everything should look good together |
