Seat back looks sick, how easy/hard to swap them? I saw some video on YT for a M3 swap that seems to be straightforward. Just wondering if M2’s latch mechanism is making it more challenging.

Installed the gloss black CSL-style grille from AutoID & the black M2 grille emblem from IND. The most difficult part was getting the oem grille out and the new grille in. Removing/reinstalling the front fascia was very easy. I like this grille much better than the oem. I had the grille covered with Xpel before install.

Here's the tools needed and pics.

Jack & Jack stands
17mm socket to remove wheel bolts
10 mm socket
8 mm socket
T-30 bit
Plastic trim tool.

1. Jack up the front, place on jack stands, & remove the wheels.

2. Remove (13) 10 mm screws holding the front fender liner in place (both sides). Remove front fender liner.

3. Unplug parking sensor (both sides) & remove large wire harness passenger side only.

4. Remove (10) 10 mm screws & (8) plastic push pins from bottom of the fascia.

5. Pop hood & remove weather stripping.

6. Remove (4) plastic push pins along top edge of fascia & remove plastic trim piece.

7. Remove (10) T-30 screws along top of fascia.

8. Carefully remove front fascia.

9. Remove oem grille from inside front fascia. I used the plastic trim tool to lift up on the black tab at each slot and my other hand to press down on the red tabs. I wasn't pulling with enough force initially for fear of breaking the tabs. Finally, out of frustration, I started using more force and was able to work each tab out.

10. Install new grilles over the tabs in the fascia. The fitment of the AutoID grille could be a little better. The slots that the tabs need to go through were a little too narrow, so it took a good bit of force to get the grilles seated correctly.

11. Re-install front fascia.

12. Admire your new grille.

Where did you get the shift knob and boot?
Did you go through IND?

Got the windows tinted today!

First pic is pre-tint, for comparison.

Not the best pics for just showing tint, but oh well.

Also, ended up tinting the windshield for the first time. I'll see if I end up liking that decision after the next several months. I'm thinking I will.

Installed my ( RW Carbon ) RW Carbon M2 DTM Trunk Spoiler today. I ordered it with the tape so installing the tape on the spoiler was an easy extra step. The biggest PITA was removing all of the adhesive from the factory spoiler ( and it was a lot! ). Otherwise it's a fairly straight forward and easy install. The quality of the spoiler is excellent and their pricing and shipping are very reasonable. 👍

Nice. That looks really good and a nice contrast with the white.

Looks good. I may bite the bullet and buy one of these cheap cf spoilers and have it painted since nobody is offering painted spoilers currently.

Thank you. I bought this from dealer stock. Had I ordered it I'm not sure what wheel package I would have gone with. I have had all black wheels on my last several performance vehicles yet I really like the bi-color on this white car. Yet at the same time if I bought aftermarket wheels I'd probably go all black. LOL

Played with Bimmercode and activated Anti Dazzle. Also was going to disable ASD however it was already disabled?! I thought all came with it enabled from factory. Anyone had same experience?

Put on 18F/15R then 15F/18R spacers. Looks great, 18 all around world probably look the best.

Unfortunately I am rubbing on the front at full lock in reverse with either setup - which is required for leaving the driveway! I am on MP HAS so I think this is probably just because of my snow tires. Trying to decide my next move... Do I wait and try again with the PS4S and only run spacers half the year? Or do I try some 12mm front spacers?
