Where is this BMW dealer located? It doesn't sound right that the dealer doesn't know anything. I was told fairly early on that my initial production date was Feb and then got told it was pushed back to May. I now have a Prod. date. The dealer should be able to get you this information, if not more.

If you placed your order in October there's a good chance you're in the top 5 priority wise. But I have no idea if your car has been impacted by the carbon related delays.

Thank you for your information, I placed my order with Northshore BMW, perhaps it’s impacted by the carbon seat delay but dealer have not updated me with anything till now..

Wow,I paid $96K for my fully loaded comp in 2021.
I finally got to see the car at a dealer and liked it but was told no sun roof option?
I will now probably look at the M4 convertible option for the retirement years.

Ouch, that's a chunk. Was hoping for considerably lesser - haven't asked for quotes yet, will wait until the car is closer. What is your spec and when are you expecting delivery? Welcome to the community!

Update Did a rough quote on Budget and got 1.6k - I'll take that.

I also just did a rough Budget quote which came out at ~A$1.7k...certainly the cheapest I've run across 10 or so insurers. Qantas being second at ~A$1.9k (underwritten by A&G Insurance Co Ltd - same as Budget).

Spec: BG, Auto, M Sports Seats - May production, so suspect an early August delivery in a perfect world

Yeah not too bad then. Might just have to go with that if the better ones are 20-30% more. Will run it again closer and might give AAMI a ring - I'm with them at the moment and they have been very competitive in the past.

Similar specs - I've got the BSM, M sports seats and Auto - and I'm 8 May production so our cars will most likely be on the same boat!

Definitely! I was sold on BG after seeing an X3M in BG parked in the sun. My decision wouldn't change even in light of the newly announced Frozen Pure Grey and Frozen Portimao Blue. Would have loved the standard Individual Portimao Blue (Navy being my car colour of choice).

Was on EOI for about a year, then order placed Oct-22 as soon as released. Would be curious to know what the wait times for delivery would be on the M2's at the moment if orders are placed today?

Here's hoping the May builds still scrape through with the Anniversary roundels...

My BG went to production 26th April but still sitting in Mexico waiting for a lift to Aus.

I suspect all the delays at the ports on this end are now delaying shipments at the destination end, but who knows.

Not sure if it's coming with the anniversary roundels or the standard but I'm not bothered, will be a nice surprise either way as I have no idea. Im more hoping to win the tyre lottery!!

What a long lead time for an April build! Hopefully gets loaded soon.

I've seen a few demos sporting P-Zeros and not the Michelins, however assumed the dealers switched the tyres over once they took delivery. Are they shipping with both?! I'll be annoyed if mine isn't wearing Michelins
