I misread your message that it was "Films Plus" that you were using. Cinema HD is still BS links. I'll have to download Films Plus to the Firestick and try again.

My Wife and I watched The Best of Enemies last night. It’s a civil rights drama starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell which is based on a true story.

Whilst it was somewhat slow it was still a very good movie and worth a watch.

It depends on which version of CINEMA you're using. My version at home no longer works, but the version on the Firestick at my gf's place works perfectly. At her place I use CINEMA; at home I've been using FP for about a month.

My Cinema HD works fine for everything but this spiderman movie. It keeps pulling up Dune, an anime, and a couple Netflix/Hulu shows that are title as Spiderman

Updates: I was off for two weeks. Had a change to watch a couple of movies.

Escape Room (something something Champions) I like these movies, but mostly because I am a problem solver.

Resident Evil (something something Racoon City) I really enjoyed this but I also loved the video games. It was nice to see a movie that actually resembled the game.

The Forever Purge - All these movies are the same. 20-30 minute set up of characters. All get locked down thinking they are safe. Shit happens. Suddenly there is some form of a trek they must embark on and time is a factor. Yawn. Enjoyed it though.

Beta Test - Just pass.

I also discovered that my girlfriend is a saint when it comes to watching movies with me. I talk and make fun of everyone in the damn movie as it's happening. Mystery Science Theater 3000 has ruined me.

Finally watched The Last Duel last night, I wish that Ridley had only explored the wife's perspective. The performances of Adam Driver and Jodie Comer were particularly good, both seemed to disappear in their roles. I'm a fan of his Kingdom of Heaven film and thought that it lacked the depth and production quality of that film. Otherwise, my only real complaint was that I think that Matt and Ben cut each other's hair.

Air force one! Can't believe it's still a nailbiter. However it's interesting to see how things have changed with terrorism since that movie

I just watched the last 15 minutes of the good the bad the ugly. Probably the second best ending to a movie of all time, in my opinion. Unforgiven being number one.
Other movies with great endings:
Bridge over the river Kwai (oh my God, what have I done)
Excalibur
The Road warrior
Star Wars episode four
Rocky
Are there any I am missing?

I tend to watch the last ~30min of The Raid 2 for pure, unadulterated martial arts action (Silat since it's Indonesian; both hand-hand + edged weapon scenes) and last set of Whiplash.

Had the urge to rewatch James Wood's Vampires and noticed that the hotel they took refuge in is the same one as No Country for Old Men, and the master vampire is same actor as the tall bad guy Terry Silver in Karate Kid/Cobra Kai.

The concept was good and it's campy fun but they definitely could've made it much better. The only proficient killers were Woods and maybe that Baldwin guy, the rest were fumbling jokes. Still, not bad just to kill some time.

Definitely camp, and that's what they were going for.

PS - and in hindsight practically every movie could've been made better.

Sure, but for me it would've been nice to have a srs tone, like what Nolan did to Batman.

Watched this last night with the family.
It was fantastic! I was particularly entertained by the nostalgia feel it gave from the original. Highly Recommend!!!
