I’m planning the same front end, full hood, full side skirts and rear bumper sides. I’ll ask for the carbon roof PPF quote and decide if it’s worth it.

Finally had time to install the MHC+ front ducts and Stradale design centrer and side mesh. I was surprised how easy was to remove the bumper (following a youtube video, of course!). Disconnecting the sensors was a learning curve since we have a different version from the one showing in the video. One big struggle was the fact the car is ceramic coated and we had to work around it to get the 3M tape to stick. Then the sensor holder shape in one of the front ducts was not as refined, having to try multiple times to get a flushed finish. The other side was fine but part of the sensor holder broke off on the first attempt. The sensor is secured but that was quite dissapointing. The side mesh were super easy to install but the center one had to be muscled into place.
Overall, very happy with the look. |

Agreed same in AZ. High quality high ir / uv / heat/ glare rejection is a must. Wouldn't suggest darker than 70% though then you are asking for issues. Rest of windows are a different story obviously.

I recommend front fenders, A-pillar kit, and rockers/rear wheel arch as well. During my drive from Austin to Dallas yesterday, it sounded like I was driving through a sand storm with how much crap was pinging off the car. Very happy I have all those areas covered.

My fourth and last DIY spring install. Getting old and feeling the pain, lol. Eibach springs and 15mm spacers all around.

Friend was kind enough to let me take a quick spin in his M2 today, I was very impressed in a short drive. My initial impressions were it felt very different to my old F87 comp, much more sorted. Car had an Akra exhaust, it was very fizzy and certainly had a lot of presence. Didn’t love the clutch, felt a bit woolly and light but I’m sure that can be sorted. Whole car felt substantial, more sophisticated, more refined than an F87. Felt very G series BMW, which is a good thing. You can tell it shares the same chassis DNA as my M340i, it just felt so well screwed together. I can see why you guys love it so much, it’s a lot of car. My 718 GT4 has been retired to street duty, and I’m building something primarily for track. Was pretty much set on an A90 Supra… now I kind of want a G87 😬
