^ That does look pretty good, but the trailer shows a car jumping from one piece of falling city to another reminding me of 2012 so I'm hoping it's less of that and more of what the preview shows. Watching it anyway

Just finished watching Jack Reacher, good action by Cruise but bit of a far fetched tale of an army sniper accused of randomly shooting strangers.

As is often the case, the books were much better than the movie. Cruise has made a lot of good movies, but was wrong guy for that particular role.

When asked about the casting of Tom Cruise in the role of Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise's casting as Jack Reacher was met with severe criticism from fans of the book series, primarily because the disparity in their heights with Reacher portrayed as a blond, 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) tall, 250-pound man in the novels, while Cruise is a 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) tall brunette. Child replied that "Reacher's size in the books is a metaphor for an unstoppable force". Physically and appearance wise, Child has compared him to Rugby Player Lawrence Dallaglio.
(Lee Child is the author of the Jack Reacher books)

I actually liked the movies, but I never read the books so I had no idea that Jack Reacher was supposed to be a big, blonde guy. Just the opposite of Tom Cruise.

I read a bunch of the books. He was a very big guy in the books, which was central to the character.

Need for Speed.

This movie doesn't get a lot of love, but it is honestly better than half the Fast/Furious series.

Watched Scream in theaters based on reviews and recommendation from someone. Towards the end I couldn’t stop rolling my eyes. It got really stupid with all the plot holes and typical dumb choices in horror movies. If you have seen it then you’ll know what I’m talking about. I didn’t have anything better to do ao glad I saw it but wouldn’t recommend it to folks.

We Are All Dead is out on Netflix. Watched a few episodes and I must ask: why the f are people so ignorant given that they knew about zombies as they referenced it in the show? Over and over the adults are all like “oh he is sick. Just hold him down and I will give sedative.” And when those people turn and act all crazy, others would stand around wondering “what’s wrong with them?” Lol it’s just stupid and quite insulting to people’s intelligence.

Thumbs up

Whatched this last night. It may have bombed at the Theater, but it is a VERY entertaining movie!
Great cast, story, action, choreography, etc.

Ya, that's ironic, they know the term/name but dunno what it entails?? What? Saw the trailer and didn't seem like much quality. Must've been frustrating seeing ppl doing stupid/annoying stuff.

I think the last decent zombie flick was 2004's Dawn of the Dead.

I like some of the funny ones: Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, The Dead Don't Die.

Yeah, I guess it's not really horror when there's comedy involved. Still, I like those movies. Would like to see more of them. They're a good laugh.

PS - actually that's not true. There are horror movies that have some comedy, like Return of the Living Dead. They're just not a pure comedy, like the ones I mentioned above.

I just rewatched An American Werewolf in London, so guess that's right up your alley? Although I didn't really see any comedy in it, just a decent horror flick.

How about his buddy, Jack, who is dead, and keeps coming back to talk to him. He says "have you ever tried talking to a corpse? It's boring." lol

And yes, love that movie. Many funny scenes in that movie. How about when he's naked at the zoo and steals the balloons?

Practically all the scenes with his dead buddy Jack are funny.

To me it doesn't incite even a chuckle, but everyone's different and they tried haha.

Recently watched the movie The King's Man Vs Rasputin. Really cool fight scene with Rasputin. Absolutely perfect moves, clearly polished thousands of times, cold discipline in body...Wow
