Personally I think Mercedes will prevail - they will run the slimmer rear wing for speed advantage and with the momentum they have now in the championship LH for title number 8!!!

I don't know what sounds worse? Honda's basically the same / make it fit or Ferrari's radical departure. MB got the turbo hybrid era engine correct from the very start. But I'm VERY worried our German friends will have something new up their sleeve for 2022

I'm pessimistic when it comes to F1. To me, largely the same = no new ideas

There is a budget and you can see now Merc are in trouble employing their hit and run tactics so in '22 the field at the front will be closer to each other,Ferrari like Merc are keeping quiet so far of what they're going to do and if Lec wants a transfer then you know it's not a good situation.

So far Ferrari is still not going with the MB split turbo design for '22. Thinking they are the only engine in the field not to do so? MB showed the path, why not follow it?

They're saving the money from split turbo design to do something 'radical' it may be either something different on their standard PU config, 18'' wheel suspension, aero,or gearbox design.

And here we are, 300 years later, carrots still orange despite that we have the technology to probably make any vegetable any colour we want.
And carrots loved/praised that they are so good for our eyes because of the high β carotene content that makes them orange.

BTW I also read that it might be a myth though, making them orange.
But I don't know, I wasn't there. Sounds more like story to promote something.
