Call me an old timer but I’m staying home New Year’s Eve and watching Cobra Kai season 4. Heard season 5 got the green light as well.

We watched "Tell me your secrets" over the last weekend and first few days of this week. They did an interesting job of hiding the twist, we are both looking forward to Season 2.
Since we've seen all the traditional Horror movies tons over the years, we have been looking for cheesy/campy/ridiculous/so-bad-they-are-great horror movies. So far we have watched: LLamageddon - A space llama crashes into Earth and begins killing college students at a house party. The llama shoots laser beams out of it's eyes and spits toxic goo. It's just as ridiculous as it sounds, but it was good for some laughs. The VelociPastor - A priests parents are killed in front of him, he questions his faith and goes to China. A dying woman gives him an ancient artifact, he discovers when he rages, he turns into a Velociraptor and kills bad guys. It ends in a bizarre Kung Fu fight. Also, absurd, also totally worth the watch. Obviously, if you go in expecting some high art/fine cinema, you will be sorely disappointed. If you can just enjoy the ridiculousness you'll get a laugh or 20. |

Either way, I'm excited for this. Hopefully they don't f*ck it up like season 8 of GoT

Best to let the series finish first and then stream in a month rather than subscribing for multiple months. That's what I plan on doing for the Morning Show Season 2. Apple TV simply just doesn't offer enough.

I mostly agree, however there are some gems on there. My personal favorites are Mythic Quest, Ted Lasso, and Defending Jacob. I have high hopes for Foundation, but haven't started it yet.

finally caught up to the latest season / most recent episode of billions, and saw the preview for season 6 that's coming in january 2022.
it's really a phenomenal show. incredible acting, great script / storylines, and enough humor sprinkled in to let you know it's not so overly serious. while certainly not as complex in its myriad storylines as shows like 'the wire,' 'the sopranos', or 'game of thrones', it is twisty enough to keep you guessing even when you know the twists are coming. bummed about the big cast change for next season (wont spoil it here since this is an active series)...but hopeful the writers can maintain momentum.

Haven't seen it, but the trailer doesn't interest me, plus seems like a lot of things that would never make sense.

Watched season four and the series finale for Goliath. While not as good of season one, it was better than season two or three. What is it about Billy Bob Thorton that's captivating?

yeah that's sort of the way i see it going, unfortunately. the show is really built around that primary power dynamic (no spoilers)....and that appears to be in for a radical overhaul.

1. Billion Dollar Code on Netflix.
It is nice mini series about a small german start up company, that was screwed big by Google. 2. Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror Documentary about 9/11 and US conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq. |
