The diff is more lively off a launch (not launch control), and the rear wheels spin more independently before the diff locks. It feels like there is more rear toe out, essentially. Low-speed 2nd gear sideways maneuvers are also more predictable and smooth at TCS level 3. Mdm feels the same (not worse) as the brakes control the slip angle. Steering is more progressive (fast) especially during turn in off center. I'd say the most significant improvement is m4cs suspension coding. Car is way more taught without the over/under dampening. I haven't had enough space yet to turn everything off.
Nice feedback. Appreciate you sharing this

I'm curious on the CS models. Lets say someone gets an allocation. Do they go and build one at the BMW website or is there a behind the scenes process with the dealer who has the allocation? I don't know if the lucky folks who get an allocation actually get to pick options out or if the cars just came as is from the factory.

There's multiple large threads on the CS/CSL tuning. It's not "one or the other."

Do some research on this forum. Tons of reviews and info.

Here, let me spoon-feed you:

This is for an MSRP only dealer where you are possitioned in the top 3 spots for an allocation. The second the configurator goes live you should configure the car and send the build to your sales associate. The build with the highest MSRP will get built first. So put those CCBs on the car and pick a special color for the best chance. Then pray there is no VIP in front of you.

Most allocations are configurable but when dealers charge ADM they may configure the car to the highest spec and force the lucky person who wants to pay $30k over MSRP to accept it.

If we're being honest, I think that's too far fetched. This is a G87, not a GT3RS here. It's not super limited and the demand is not going to outweigh the supply by 10 fold. I say that based on the fact that F80/82 CS model were sitting on lots and now you can buy one for less than a regular model
2019 Clean Title M4CS
2018 Clean Title M3CS
Then again, the F87CS for some reason held it's value but is of course coming down
Like this one
The only real model that somewhat held it's value is the F90CS.
I don't think the G series CS cars are holding their value either and I don't think dealers will make the same mistake adding any sort of ADM in this market. If we're being honest, I don't think you should have any problem with simply going to your local dealership and getting an allocation at MSRP.
