New button should come with some sticky tape that you roll-up into a ball, press it onto the OEM button, and rapidly lift-up. May take several tries.

I think I'd just trade my whole car in for a 2022 model if I wanted that compartment 😂.

Nice job though!

I like the new display and the idrive 8 so far.
Even not being allowed to code on 2023 models I would choose the 2023 model again.

This was a 26 usd mod so I would not even bother if would not work, but before I cut the dash I Cheked the dimensions from the interior, not to have a surprise ✌️😀

OK thanks - will give it a try...and the new one I assume you press and it just snaps right in

Purchased the Gloss Black Front Splitter and side Winglets from Autoid!

I already have the M Performance Carbon spoiler on my build. $618 from BMW was totally reasonable. The other Carbon parts… yikes. The gloss black gives the same look as the M Performance options, and WAAAAAAY cheaper. Especially knowing they will get beat up anyways. I’ll take $422 vs $3,323 all day long.

I got mine for £315 from SSDD but i think they priced it wrong by accident as after I bought it it went up to £530

Would be interested in your thoughts on the gloss black parts when they arrive, have seen mixed comments and I'm not looking to have CF on the exterior.

The red button came with a clay-type of a sticky goo. Just firmly cover the OEM button with the clay and pull straight up FAST WITH AUTHORITY. Easy peasy.

I'll post some pics of the parts after they arrive early next week.

Once my car arrives (Hopefully mid to late June) I'll definitely post some pics with them installed.

How is the installation for the side winglets?
Is there drilling involved?

They are the same shape as the MP and that needs 5 holes so I'd assume so, the manual mentions using a 5mm drill stop to prevent damage underneath and that would terrify me!!

Edit to correct, it was the CF ones are the same, I'd been looking at them in a different tab, the gloss black seem solid.

The black winglets from AutoID are not a replica from MPerformance and as tre winglets in carbon. Shape is different, similar but if you pay attention Design is not the same. And they don’t have 5 holes.

Check again because that was something that lead me to not buy them.
