Maybe it's waiting for carrier. I hope it's not due to your port options. I have the CF kidney grill optioned.

How are guys adding on port installed accessories? When I ordered my car about a month ago, I didn’t see any area in the online configurator where I can add OEM accessories to the order.

Congrats! Just curious, why do you have to wait until Wednesday?

Car has to be detailed, dealer is also installing H&R springs and spacers before pickup

You have to talk to CA to add it.

It’s definitely the options as the dealer is 20 minutes from the port, and they received other cars from Grand Champion already.

My CA at Stevens Creek said the ETA was 11/14. Seems like a long time for a 6 hour drive up the coast, so I'm sure it'll be sooner.

Also, I was a bit bummed to learn that they cannot facilitate paying Utah sales tax when I come to pick up. So, it's basically easier (and less of a headache) for me to have the car delivered to me and not have to fight Cali to get the sales tax back from them after I pay Utah. There goes my "break-in" road trip plans.

RCC Antwerp finally docked at Brunswick GA this morning. Next stop Baltimore! Hopefully it leaves soon, they're forecasting high waves in the next few days

Should be smooth sailing after Baltimore. Maybe it'll move faster since it'll be lighter lol

At least your truck ride will be nice and short. I'm guessing 2 days from BMore to Chi

Exactly, I meant to say you'll have a much shorter truck ride than mine. 2-ish hours for you vs 2-ish days for me.

I used to live in Staten Island which is right by Bayonne which i think is the port in NJ? At least I think the last ship stopped there. Too bad I'm no longer in SI, would have loved to watch it sail in

Garage List
I swear its not to brag, but as a reference point for what is technically possible (as an outlier).

Custom Build Spec Sign Date - 8/29/22

Scheduled for Production (112)- 8/31/22

Back to 'Order Received' (111)- 9/2/22

Production Week moved back a week from 39 to 40 - 9/6/22

Scheduled for Production (112)- 9/6/22

Production Week moved forward a week from 40 to 39 - 9/12/22

Production Begins (150)- 9/15/22

Ready for Transport - 9/28/22

At Port - 10/20/22

Delivery - 10/22/22

I was actually extremely lucky with my dealer (BMW of Mountain View). The dealer themselves placed an order for inventory stock and already had a production number on the day I reached out. Went to the dealer and the Sales Manager was very accommodating and nice enough to replace the existing build with my options. In total, I got my car in about 7.5 weeks. If anyone is the Bay Area, I would highly recommend this dealership.

EDIT:
I will note that I did reach out to all the dealerships in my area. I had reached out to BMW of Fremont, Stevens Creek, Peter Pan (San Mateo), and Mountain View. Peter Pan and Mountain View were most responsive and accommodating as well as transparent about current allocations and people if any waiting. I only opted for MV because it was closest to my home as well as the production number already being ready.

You moved from NY to IL? That's almost as bad as me moving from PA to IL. I used to live in Yorkville, but moved to Utah this past March. Couldn't stand JB and Bettlejuice anymore.

Per my CA today, the estimated departure from the Oxnard VPC is 11/11, for delivery to my dealer (San Raphael BMW) on 11/13. The dealer will need another 2 days for inspection + detailing, so my current ETA for pickup is now Tues, 11/15.

Hoping it won't take another 5 days just to leave the VPC but we probably got a bit unlucky that the Atlas Leader unloaded on a Friday, since there's probably not much action at the VPC on the weekends.

Lmao I'm originally from IL, so I ended up moving back because of work. Trust me I hate this state too and plan on moving soon now that I'm 100% WFH

Kind of confused why it left and is now going to Jacksonville though.

If anyone hears of a new ETA on RCC Antwerp into Baltimore, would you please share? I'll do the same.

Isn't this fun?
