Yeah .45 is 900 some odd fps. Unlike faster pistol bullets it transfers more energy to the target. Big heavy bullet and hollow tips and you have a massive blow instead of the bullet going straight through and continuing on not doing the damage and energy transfer. In contrast a .357 goes about 1500 fps. Great for penetration through say a car door or windshield but a lot of wasted power otherwise.

No, saw this gun first during the balcan war into '93 were some militia had used them. Into direct line to the AK47 the N-PAP seems to be more smooth into the overall handling, lets say, with 'more love' developed and branded.
