Agreed. Silver, chrome, basically anything non-black washes out the yellow. Black accents brighten/deepen the yellow. Definitely wouldn't do matte on yellow unless you like driving around in a urine-colored vehicle.

I do/did. It arrived at Port Hueneme on 8/27. My CA told me a couple weeks for port install options.

I wonder if my car is waiting for the boat yours will be on. Mines been done for weeks now. Unless someone else on the west coast pipes in here, saying their car is on the way (on a boat) already, I wonder if the CA boat simply hasn’t been loaded yet, only east coast and non-US boats.

Green is my favorite color and I find java super disappointing. Lot of nice greens on the palette and they stuck us with the ugliest one.

Mint is near the top of my list for a new car, but I can't justify the $100k price tag to make it happen on a G80/2. Have thought about ordering the g87 in black and wrapping mint, but I like paint..

I’m taking the chance on Java Green.
Would have done Zandvoort but I feel like it’s way too common.

If I can’t stand the color I’ll wrap it.
From the pics they teased of it I don’t think it looks bad on the G87

I wish they did a better job highlighting the new colors because personally I've never seen java in person. We've gotten what, two photos of them at a distance and from overhead? All the visualizer stuff is not helpful. I'm in a similar boat with purp fwiw. Hope I don't have to wrap it down the road but I guess that'd be fun.. Good luck!

Na Java looks awesome bro, it will be a special colour. But like all these bold colours there’ll be lovers and haters. Screw em & enjoy the car for yourself. This was an M4 at a dealership recently… no way you won’t love that colour

I saw a video of it on an M4 and it really showed off the depth to the color.

Wish I could see it in person. Guess I’ll have to wait until it arrives sometime next year

Check out BMW Reddit and search which individual color you want and see all the pics. Won’t be as good as in person but helps. The visualizer and the online models are BS. Colors don’t look like that.

I think Java is amazing but it would wear me out after a while. It’s an ultra impactful color. I like all the new color options though and wish they were available when I ordered my 24. I still like my Boring Grey Metallic(BGM) though😀

Green and yellow cars only work on supercars imo (makes it seem like you are trying too hard?) but I absolutely sympathize with the over proliferation of black, white silver, grey....boring

Furthermore you need a car like the Emira with great lines to pull off a vivid color and that isn't the new M2

I kind of agree, but I'm torn because at the same time it kind of seems like a crime to order this car in a boring color.
