There was blood and a shoe found near the fence leading to the speculation that perhaps the victim dangled his legs over the edge allowing the tiger to pull itself over.

even if the tiger was provoked and it was a female still it must have been gruesome. not that any method of dying is better than the other it's just that I would be shook if a tiger came at me and I am a bb.
they are gng to sue the zoo of course but I really believe that they shouldn't get a penny if the kid dangled his legs in the cage or caused the tiger to get out. It must have cost fortune to feed the animal... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,318365,00.html javascript:vPlayer('22399947','9c00949f-7371-4107-95a0-022b68cfb9aa') Last edited by mpimping; 12-29-2007 at 01:04 PM.. |

BTW those were the circumstances of the first attack, apparently.

Sounds a little fishy... how does a tiger jump over a 20-30' moet to reach over a 12.5 wall? RIP to the kid...

I understand what you're saying. But I wasnt suggesting that they should have put the tiger down last year. I was just stating what I've heard.

news is that tiger was provoked/mistreated as they found rocks and sticks by his habitat ( before some bright dumb fck points out arent those things usually found in a zoo anyway - NO, the handlers did not note those objects in the area that morning when they were with the animal)
OH yeah, also to note- they found a bottle of vodka in the car of the teenagers involved in this mess. Dont get me wrong, my prayers are with the family of those involved but there are some really really really dumb kids out there these days. Some mistake dogs for footballs others tigers for little kittens. A semi domesticated animal just doesnt leap out and go after someone because he/she feels like " its a good day to hunt a human" I think thats more our nature where we go out to kill for sport rather than sustenance. Personally I dont think they should have killed the tiger..just sedate the creature. I guess they wanted to justify one death with another - sounds like a human thing to do. |

Actually I believe it was worse, the handler had a hunk of meat in their hand and decided to put it close enough to the cage so that the tiger could bite it. How retarded can you be?

The blonde is pretty hot. If those kids taunted that tiger and the family gets any money it will anger me greatly. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl.../MN9TU8AGC.DTL This is making me very angry. They should punish the parents for having kids. WTF? The kids went to the zoo on Christmas to harass animals? The last time I went to the zoo was in elementary school. Wtf? They are lucky more people didn't get hurt... |
