but, as far as me being an "asshole" I was just trying to point out with humor that the extremely high sugar content of breakfast cereal is a newish mid-20th century phenomena and sooner or later that kind of diet will or could be a problem. Lucky Charms and Capt'n Crunch would be my foods of choice but I just can't metabolize that any more without bad consequences, headaches, weight-gain and loss of concentration.

Well if you lift pretty heavy cereal is perfectly good for you..

My wife is a great cook, she sometimes worries that I never complain about what she makes us to eat and I tell her that when I was single I'd have cereal for dinner so everything she makes is better than that.....having said that, I had cereal for dinner the other night, she wasn't here so it was a throw back....yummy. But damn she can cook, and damn sometimes I like it when she's not home and I can abuse myself.....

Ever since I was a kid, my parents let me grab whatever cereal I wanted and now with my own 2 boys, I do the same for them. We keep on hand at any given moment, 10 different kinds of cereal. No wonder my wife bought me this t-shirt...



Among my favorite: Quaker Oats Simply Granola, Special K Vanilla Almond, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reeses Puffs, Captain Crunch Mixed Berry, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cocoa Pepples, Chocolate Lucky Charms to name a few!

Smart Start with some fresh blueberries, strawberries or bananas (or all three) mixed in.

Cocoa Pebbles. It's the only cereal I don't get sick of halfway through the box.
