I must admit I really wanted to put an 812 Superfast in the list as well but I didn't really have any car I could remove. I didn't have any other close runners up.

For 7 vehicles, I would probably pick something from these categories.
Rugged 4x4: Ford Raptor, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL, or a Land Rover D90. Something with a brutish V8: C7 Corvette Grand Sport, Ford GT350, or a Mercedes AMG GT C. A grand touring V12 coupe: Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Ferrari 550 Maranello, or a BMW 850CSi. Inline six awesomeness: BMW 1M, BMW M2 Competition, or a BMW Z4 M Coupe. A practical 4-door: Alfa Romeo Gulia Quadrifoglio, Audi S4, BMW M3, BMW M5, or a Range Rover Sport SVR. A classic car: Alfa Romeo GTV, BMW 3.0CSi, Datsun 240Z, Ford Mustang fastback ('60s), Jaguar E-Type coupe or a Porsche 911. Something random: Audi Ur Quattro, Mazda MX-5, Nissan GT-R (any generation), or a Subaru WRX STi (GD chassis). Some of these cars could easily straddle my categories, and I'm sure there are numerous other cars I would also consider that I'm not thinking of at the moment

CLK 63 AMG Black Series OR CLK DTM AMG
Lotus Esprit V8 (2002 to 2004) 1M NSX-R (2002) R34 Skyline GTR V Spec 2 Nur TVR Tuscan Speed Six or a TVR Cerbera 4.5 V8 Shelby Series 1 Supercharged Yup, no practical cars for me. If I had the money and space for these cars, I can surely rent out an SUV for my practical needs. |

I had four cars and two bikes last year. While it was hectic maintaining all of them and the insurance was atrocious, I wouldn't have had it any other way. The important thing to note is that it's spread across two states (i.e. two cars, one bike in NJ; two cars, one bike in IL). Having seven in one place seems excessive.

That's about 4 cars too many for me! But if I had the money to have other people take care of the realities of owning all those cars, I'd probably have:
-e92 M3 (currently own) -94 Corrado SLC (currently own) -Jeep GC SRT (currently own) -997 GT3 RS or 991 GT3 touring -Vintage "Bullet" Mustang -Vintage Alfa Romeo GTV (from the 70s) If it had to be 7 cars I don't currently own: -New Mercedes G550 -997/991 GT3 of some sort -C7 corvette grand sport -V8-swap Miata for track fun -Chevy Bolt (running errands around town) -Vintage "Bullet" Mustang |

Counting my wife's vehicle, the garage total is eight. None are that rare or exotic, but I have a good time playing with them. A couple of Germans, a couple of Brits, a couple of Corvettes, and a couple of pickups. While arguably not to everyone's taste, they each serve me well and climbing behind the wheel always puts a smile on my face.
